“Como arruinar nuestra influencia”

 

Introducción:

  1. Nunca olvidemos lo importante y valiosa que es nuestra influencia.
  2. Eclesiastés 7:1: “Mejor es la buena fama que el buen ungüento; y mejor el día de la muerte que el día del nacimiento.”
  3. Proverbios 22:1: “De más estima es el buen nombre que las muchas riquezas, Y la buena fama más que la plata y el oro.”

 

  1. ¿Qué tanta importancia le damos a nuestra influencia? Debería ser considerada diariamente. Unos cuantos minutos de descuido, pueden dañar permanentemente nuestra influencia sobre otros.
  2. Un descuido con nuestra lengua, una exploción de ira, o el asociarnos con esos de pobre carácter puede arruinar nuestro buen nombre.
  3. ¿Pero cuáles son algunas cosas con las que podríamos perder nuestro sabor ante los demás?

 

  1. SIENDO INCONSISTENTES.
  2. La gente nota rápidamente, cuando nuestras palabras NO van con lo que decimos ser. Eso se llama ser inconsistentes. Deberíamos de práticar lo que decimos ser.
  3. (Proverbios 26:7: “Las piernas del cojo penden inútiles; Así es el proverbio en la boca del necio.”; Eclesiastés 10:1: “Las moscas muertas hacen heder y dar mal olor al perfume del perfumista; así una pequeña locura, al que es estimado como sabio y honorable”.).     El mundo está buscando cualquier manera para blasfemar el nombre de Cristo en nosotros, y qué más cuando ve nuestra inconsistencia.
  4. En Romanos 2:21: “Tú, pues, que enseñas a otro, ¿no te enseñas a ti mismo? Tú que predicas que no se ha de hurtar, ¿hurtas?”, el N.T. Está advirtiéndonos sobre la inconsistencia. ¿Somos los cristianos inconsistentes?
  5. CUANDO TE PIERDAN LA CONFIANZA.
  6. Nunca estés disponible, no seas voluntario, no permitas que te tengan confianza, deja que todos influyan en ti.
  7. ¿Qué mujer se casaría con un hombre así? Hermanos, dañamos nuestra influencia actuando de esta manera. ¿Contratarías a alguién para trabajar contigo y que piense, hable y actúe así? ¡Estarías loco al hacerlo!
  8. La biblia nos autoriza a no creer en gente en la cual no se pueda confiar.

1, 2 Reyes 18:21: “He aquí que confías en este báculo de caña cascada, en Egipto, en el cual si alguno se apoyare, se le entrará por la mano y la traspasará. Tal es Faraón rey de Egipto para todos los que en él confían.”

  1. Proverbios 25:19: “Como diente roto y pie descoyuntado Es la confianza en el prevaricador en tiempo de angustia.”

 

  1. Pablo también tuvo experiencias amargas con esos, con los cuales no se puede contar, o con los que no se puede confiar.
  2. Juan Marcos Hechos 15:38: “pero a Pablo no le parecía bien llevar consigo al que se había apartado de ellos desde Panfilia, y no había ido con ellos a la obra.”
  3. Los que le abandonaron en su defensa ante el Cesar 2 Tim 4:16: “En mi primera defensa ninguno estuvo a mi lado, sino que todos me desampararon; no les sea tomado en cuenta.”
  4. Demas 2 Timoteo 4:10: “porque Demas me ha desamparado, amando este mundo, y se ha ido a Tesalónica. Crescente fue a Galacia, y Tito a Dalmacia.”

III. POR NO SER AMISTOSO.

  1. No estoy hablando de participar de las groserías que el mundo hace, pero sí me refiero que los de afuera NO tengan nada MALO que decir de nosotros.
  2. Pablo le dijo a los Romanos:“en cuanto dependa de vosotros, estad en paz con todos los hombres”
  3. Lucas 11:5-8: “Les dijo también: ¿Quién de vosotros que tenga un amigo, va a él a medianoche y le dice: Amigo, préstame tres panes, porque un amigo mío ha venido a mí de viaje, y no tengo qué ponerle delante; y aquél, respondiendo desde adentro, le dice: No me molestes; la puerta ya está cerrada, y mis niños están conmigo en cama; no puedo levantarme, y dártelos? Os digo, que aunque no se levante a dárselos por ser su amigo, sin embargo por su importunidad se levantará y le dará todo lo que necesite.”

Las personas amistosas tienen tremenda influencia sobre otros.

1.Proverbios 18:24: “El hombre que tiene amigos ha de mostrarse amigo; Y amigo hay más unido que un hermano.”

 

  1. ¿Qué hacer para no ser amistosos?
  2. Muy poco. Siempre responder bruscamente, heridoramente sin ser amistoso con los demás.
  3. Por tener una actitud de: “ami no me importa” ,pobre el cristiano que así actúe.
  4. La biblia nos enseña que debemos ser amigables y amables.

1.Proverbios 18:24: “El hombre que tiene amigos ha de mostrarse amigo; Y amigo hay más unido que un hermano.”

2.Proverbios 17:17: “En todo tiempo ama el amigo,  Y es como un hermano en tiempo de angustia.”

 

  1. POR SER DE TEMPERAMENTO EXPLOSIVO.
  2. Son muchos los que dán rienda suelta a sus emociones, sin saber el gran impacto que esto tendrá sobre sus vidas.
  3. Eclesiatés 7:9: “No te apresures en tu espíritu a enojarte; porque el enojo reposa en el seno de los necios.”
  4. Proverbios 22:24,25: “No te entremetas con el iracundo, Ni te acompañes con el hombre de enojos, No sea que aprendas sus maneras, Y tomes lazo para tu alma.”
  5. Proverbios 14:17: “El que fácilmente se enoja hará locuras; Y el hombre perverso será aborrecido.”
  6. Proverbios14:29: “El que tarda en airarse es grande de entendimiento; Mas el que es impaciente de espíritu enaltece la necedad.”
  7. Muchos son los padres, que sin saber han dado este mismo veneno a sus hijos y mirelos allí, creciendo una generación de malos, aborreciendo al mundo y siendo aborrecidos por el mundo también.
  8. Esta es una manera fácil de destruír nuestra influencia.

 

  1. POR DAR RIENDA SUELTA A NUESTRA LENGUA.
  2. No hay nada más que hiera al hombre que las palabras.Talvez los golpes físicos duelan,  pero pronto se olvidan. Mientras que una palabra hiriente llega hasta el fondo del alma y destruye por mucho tiempo a nuestro prójimo.
  3. Soltar la lengua sólo por hacer daño, será condenado por Dios, y arruinará nuestra buena conducta delante de los demás.
  4. Eclesiastés 5:3. Salomón dice que sólo el necio actúa así.
  5. Amargados, busca pleitos, contenciosos, malos, inventores de males, aborrecedores de Dios, desamorados con los padres son los que hablan así. Se daña la obra de Dios al ser de este tipo.
  6. Proverbios 27:2: “Alábete el extraño, y no tu propia boca; El ajeno, y no los labios tuyos.”
  7. Proverbios 26: 20-22: “Sin leña se apaga el fuego, Y donde no hay chismoso, cesa la contienda. El carbón para brasas, y la leña para el fuego; Y el hombre rencilloso para encender contienda. Las palabras del chismoso son como bocados suaves, Y penetran hasta las entrañas. “

 

  1. Judas 16: “Estos son murmuradores, querellosos, que andan según sus propios deseos, cuya boca habla cosas infladas, adulando a las personas para sacar provecho”.
  2. POR NO ADMITIR NUESTRO PROPIO ERROR.
  3. Cuando no vemos nuestro propio error, sino que nos volcamos en el de los otros, esta es otra forma de cómo arruinamos nuestra influencia.
  4. Ser los “superhombres” que todo lo sabemos daña grandemente. No hay mejor actitud que la de aquel que está dispuesto a escudriñarse “introspectivamente” para ver si hay algo malo en él.
  5. Proverbios 12:15: “Gozaos con los que se gozan; llorad con los que lloran.”
  6. Proverbios 14:16: “El sabio teme y se aparta del mal; Mas el insensato se muestra insolente y confiado.”

 

Estar listo para admitir nuestro error y terminar con el, es lo mejor que podemos hacer para no dañar nuestra influencia.

 

CONCLUSIÓN.
