9Aquella luz verdadera, que alumbra a todo hombre, venía a este mundo. 10En el mundo estaba, y el mundo por él fue hecho; pero el mundo no le conoció. 11A lo suyo vino, y los suyos no le recibieron. 12Mas a todos los que le recibieron, a los que creen en su nombre, les dio potestad de ser hechos hijos de Dios; 13los cuales no son engendrados de sangre, ni de voluntad de carne, ni de voluntad de varón, sino de Dios.
14Y aquel Verbo fue hecho carne, y habitó entre nosotros (y vimos su gloria, gloria como del unigénito del Padre), lleno de gracia y de verdad. 15Juan dio testimonio de él, y clamó diciendo: Este es de quien yo decía: El que viene después de mí, es antes de mí; porque era primero que yo. 16Porque de su plenitud tomamos todos, y gracia sobre gracia. 17Pues la ley por medio de Moisés fue dada, pero la gracia y la verdad vinieron por medio de Jesucristo. 18A Dios nadie le vio jamás; el unigénito Hijo, que está en el seno del Padre, él le ha dado a conocer.” Juan 1:1-18.
Juan dice que el Verbo es eterno porque cuando fueron Creadas las cosas en el principio el ERA. En esa eternidad el Verbo gozaba de la comunión con su Padre porque el Espíritu Santo atreves de Juan dice que el Verbo estaba con su Padre. También afirma que el Verbo tenía la eternidad y en esa intima comunión gozaban de la misma naturaleza Divina.
Nada fue hecho sin EL.
En el verso 14 el Espíritu Santo atreves del apóstol Juan dice que el Verbo se hizo carne otra versión dice se hizo hombre. El Ángel le dijo a José que su nombre, seria Jesús que significa salvador. Antes de nacer no era conocido como el Hijo de Dios.
Dice el Apóstol Pablo a los Romanos: “de quienes son los patriarcas, y de los cuales, según la carne, vino Cristo, el cual es Dios sobre todas las cosas, bendito por los siglos. Amén.” Romanos 9:5. No hay dudas de que el Cristo es Dios. La misma Verdad enseña el Espíritu Santo a través del Apóstol Pablo en la carta a Tito: “aguardando la esperanza bienaventurada y la manifestación gloriosa de nuestro gran Dios y Salvador Jesucristo,” Tito 2:13.
Ahora podemos entender mejor la oración de Jesús: “Ahora pues, Padre, glorifícame tú al lado tuyo, con aquella gloria que tuve contigo antes que el mundo fuese.” Juan 17:5.
Antes de hacerse hombre el Verbo ya gozaba de Gloria con su Padre.
