Si deseamos saber de la vida de Jesús, sus enseñanzas y milagros siempre vamos a estos cuatro libros: Mateo, Marcos, Lucas y Juan. Mateo conservo las mejores enseñanzas de Jesús. Mateo 1:1: “Libro de la genealogía de Jesucristo, hijo de David, hijo de Abraham.” Mateo se esforzó por probar que Jesús era el Mesías prometido. Su Genealogía llega hasta Abraham.
Marcos 1:1: “Principio del evangelio de Jesucristo, Hijo de Dios.” Los milagros que Jesús hizo probaron su divinidad.
Lucas 1:1-4: “Puesto que ya muchos han tratado de poner en orden la historia de las cosas que entre nosotros han sido ciertísimas, 2tal como nos lo enseñaron los que desde el principio lo vieron con sus ojos, y fueron ministros de la palabra, 3me ha parecido también a mí, después de haber investigado con diligencia todas las cosas desde su origen, escribírtelas por orden, oh excelentísimo Teófilo, 4para que conozcas bien la verdad de las cosas en las cuales has sido instruido.” Lucas quiere demostrar a Teófilo que todo lo que se les había enseñado era ciertísimo, no había en la enseñanza ni un mínimo de mentira. Lucas conoció a muchas personas que conocieron a Jesús y lo mas bonito es que el converso con ellas. Ahora que Teófilo ha recibido este primer regalo se puede deleitar cada día leyéndolo y meditando.
Juan 20:30-31: “Hizo además Jesús muchas otras señales en presencia de sus discípulos, las cuales no están escritas en este libro. 31Pero éstas se han escrito para que creáis que Jesús es el Cristo, el Hijo de Dios, y para que creyendo, tengáis vida en su nombre.” Cada historia que Juan escribió tiene el poder de producir fe en Jesús y al Creer en EL como el Hijo de Dios tener esperanza de Vida Eterna. Juan escribió 7 milagros que no mencionaron Mateo, Marcos ni Lucas.
Muchos afirman que son 4 evangelios y mencionan los 4 nombres de los escritores. Pero tengamos que solo hay un evangelio, así lo enseño el apóstol Pablo cuando les escribió a los Gálatas: “Estoy maravillado de que tan pronto os hayáis alejado del que os llamó por la gracia de Cristo, para seguir un evangelio diferente. 7No que haya otro, sino que hay algunos que os perturban y quieren pervertir el evangelio de Cristo. 8Mas si aun nosotros, o un ángel del cielo, os anunciare otro evangelio diferente del que os hemos anunciado, sea anatema. 9Como antes hemos dicho, también ahora lo repito: Si alguno os predica diferente evangelio del que habéis recibido, sea anatema. 10Pues, ¿busco ahora el favor de los hombres, o el de Dios? ¿O trato de agradar a los hombres? Pues si todavía agradara a los hombres, no sería siervo de Cristo.” Gálatas 1:6-10. El Evangelio es uno y único. Ni Pablo ni ningún ángel podía cambiarlo. Lo andaban enseñando los judaizantes era un evangelio diferente, porque ellos enseñaban que la circuncisión era necesaria para que un Gentil fuera salvo, esta enseñanza vino a dividir muchas iglesias fieles. Lo correcto es decir: El Evangelio Según Mateo, según Marcos, según Lucas o según Juan.
Los cuatro libros han sido conservados para nosotros para que tengamos el complemento de quien era Jesús y porque murió en la Cruz. El Evangelio es una Persona prometida y llegada, quien enseño, sirvió con maravillas, murió como redentor y venció la muerte al resucitar.
